However I have a new problem, a truly Alpine problem unfortunately, that I hope you or somebody else can help me with anyway.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My folders are now, all 60-70 of them, in a subdirectory called Mail. Which is inconvenient. How do I move them all up to the main directory where they used to be?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Also, what's the story on the spam situation? I am now getting about 20-30 spam E-mails per day. Is this just some weird kink with my account, or is everyone having this problem? Per eel's comment, you should be able to...</title><content type='html'>Amateur,&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Per eel's comment, you should be able to move the directory by executing "mv ~/Mail ~/mail" at an SSH prompt. Details about how to use SSH are posted on our wiki.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;As to the safety of your data, I think it's a fairly safe thing to try, but I can't confirm (again, not familiar with pine at all). If you copy or rename your /Mail folder to /mail, you should be able to access them normally in alpine. In fact, I ended up downloading many folders to my machine because my account was going over quota (likely because I can't access my spam folder through Alpine and delete a bunch of stuff).  I thought I'd post this, because it might be helpful to you to have access to your folders, but like you, I'm still waiting to hear back from ocf staff (I emailed them separately from these blog comments) to see if they can suggest a way that we can view our folders in Alpine, or switch back to using Pine.
